Welcome to the COBRA NATION. Cabarrus Tech was founded in 2016 on the CBTC Campus of RCCC. At Cabarrus Tech, we believe that all students can make a difference in the world. Everything we do is to prepare them to make that difference. We strive to be a school where all students know they belong, are challenged each day to be leaders and problem-solvers, and charged to leave the world better than they found it. Each day we prepare our students for COLLEGE, CAREER, & LIFE by providing students with an environment that is challenging and supportive and a curriculum designed to help them grow in the classroom and as people. At Cabarrus Tech, school is more than just academics. We believe that learning takes place outside the classroom as well and there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved. There are clubs for all interests, competitive teams in intramurals and academics, trips, and social activities for them to participate in.
Our students come to Cabarrus Tech for many reasons. While our name says “Tech” we have a lot to offer ALL students. We have a very comprehensive approach to education. For our students that really love technology, we have clubs, extracurricular activities and degree options for them. However, over half of our students will go into degree areas and fields that are not STEM related. For those students, we have non-tech related clubs, extracurricular activities and degree options as well. Like we always say, “If you’re into tech, great, we’ve got a lot for you. If you’re not into tech, great, we’ve got a lot for you!” We really are more than a name.
In addition to earning their high school diploma, our students have the opportunity to earn an associate degree while they are still in high school and our campus offers a wide variety of degrees and programs to choose from. It does not matter if a student wants to continue to a 4‑year college/university or start your career when they graduate, we have a path for them.
We are so proud of this past graduating class. Last year we had:
We are excited and look forward to many more successes from our students this year!
